The images in this directory were created by USGS & the USFS and are in the

public domain.  No warranty or liability is given or implied for  the quality of the data.

Errors or omissions should be reported to the Oregon Geospatial Clearinghouse

at 503-378-2166.



The images have been projected in to the Oregon Geographic

Information Council (OGIC) standard projection (Oregon Lambert).

The images are in MrSid format.  In order to be used in a GIS the .sid file and the

.sdw files both must be downloaded. The .txt file for each quad is created by the MrSid 

software and describes the compression process. Free viewing software may be found at:
